Paul Hornung’s Most Versatile Performances of the Week

Week 8 (2010; through games on Oct. 23, 2010; released Oct. 25, 2010 and Oct. 28, 2010)

• Stanford's Owen Marecic had five tackles, a 19-yard interception return, two receptions for 15 yards and two carries for five yards in a 38-23 win over Washington State on Oct. 24.

• Nebraska's Niles Paul had 9 receptions for 135 yards, one punt return for 24 yards, and two kick returns for 119 yards and one TD in a 51-41 win over Oklahoma State on October 23.

• Alabama's Trent Richardson had 12 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown, one five-yard reception for a touchdown and two kick returns for 48 yards in a 41-10 win over Tennessee on Oct. 24. He also had a special teams tackle in the win.

• UAB’s Pat Shed had 227 all-purpose yards on 16 carries for 69 yards, two receptions for 16 yards, and five kick returns for 142 yards in a 29-24 loss at Mississippi State on Oct. 24.

• Clemson’s Andre Ellington recorded 257 all-purpose yards in his first outing returning kicks for the Tigers. Ellington rushed for 166 yards, had two catches of 12 yards and returned three kicks for 79 yards. (added on Oct. 28, 2010)
