Week 1: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 16 rushes on the day for a total of 162 yards, three touchdowns and a longest run of 48 yards. The three touchdowns came from 20, 19 and three yards out. Wilson had a total of 162 all-purpose yards in the 66-13 win against Appalachian State on Sept. 3.
Week 2: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 26 carries for 144 yards on Sept. 10 and a longest of 39. Wilson also had one reception for four yards and one kick return for 34 yards. David Wilson finished the day with 176 all-purpose yards in the 17-10 win over East Carolina.
Week 3: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 21 carries for 88 yards and one touchdown on a three yard run. Wilson also had two receptions for seven yards, and one kick return for 20 yards. Wilson finished the day with 115 all-purpose yards in the 26-7 win over Arkansas State on Sept. 17.
Week 4: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 26 carries for 132 yards and a longest of 28 yards. Wilson also had a three yard run for a touchdown, along with two catches for 11 yards and three kick returns for 78 yards and a longest of 33 yards. Wilson finished the day with 221 all-purpose yards in the 30-10 win over Marshall on Sept. 24.
Week 5: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson 20 carries for 123 yards and a longest of 19. Wilson also had two catches for 21 yards and a longest of 15, as well as two kick returns for 36 yards and a longest of 19. David Wilson finished the day with 180 all-purpose yards in the 23-3 loss to Clemson.
Week 6: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 23 carries for 128 yards and a longest of 18. Wilson also had four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown on a three yard pass. David Wilson had five kick returns for 88 yards and a longest of 23 for a total of 241 all-purpose yards in the 38-35 win over Miami on Oct. 8.
Week 7: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 17 carries for 136 yards and a longest of 57 yards. Included in those 136 yards was a seven yard touchdown run. Wilson also had one reception for 12 yards and three kick returns for 36 yards and a longest of 18. Wilson finished the day with 184 all-purpose yards in the 38-17 win over Wake Forest on Oct. 8.
Week 8: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 17 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown on a 42 yard rush. Wilson also had three receptions for 16 yards for a total of 150 all-purpose yards in the 30-14 win over Boston College on Oct. 22.
Week 9: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 23 carries for 148 yards and a longest of 39. Wilson also had one catch for three yards and one kick return for seven yards for a total of 158 all-purpose yards on the day. Virginia Tech won 14-10 against Duke on Oct. 29.
Week 10: 
Virginia Tech and David Wilson did not have a game this week.
Week 11: 
Virginia Tech's David Wilson had 23 carries for 175 yards and two kick returns for 38 yards in a 37-26 win over Georgia Tech on Nov. 10.
Week 12: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 21 carries for 82 yards and a longest of 33. Wilson also had one catch for eight yards and two kick returns for 39 yards and a longest of 28. Wilson finished the game with 129 all-purpose yards in the 24-21 win over North Carolina.
Week 13: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 24 carries for 153 yards and two touchdowns on a 27 and 38 yard run. Wilson also had one catch for five yards for a total of 158 all-purpose yards in the 38-0 win over Virginia on Nov. 26th.
Week 14: 
Virginia Tech’s David Wilson had 11 carries for 32 yards and a longest of 11. Wilson also had three receptions on the day for 14 yards for a total of 46 all-purpose yards in the 38-10 loss to Clemson in the ACC Championship game on Dec. 3.
