Week 1: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had three unassisted tackles and one assisted tackle and a quarterback hurry in the Falcons 32-15 win over Idaho on Sept. 1.
Week 2: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had an interception return for 32 yards in the Falcons 58-13 win over Morgan State on September 10. He also accumulated four tackles in the win.
Week 3: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had 11 tackles and a forced fumble in the Falcons 28-27 loss to Wyoming on Sept. 17. Gates also had a 32 yard kick return and a forced fumble on the night.
Week 4: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had three tackles, including a sack, and one kickoff return for 15 yards in the Falcons 37-23 win over Miami (OH) on Sept. 24.
Week 5: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had 233 yards on seven kick returns and two tackles in the Falcons 55-10 loss to West Virginia on October 1.
Week 6: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had 11 tackles and 105 kick return yards in the Falcons 45-21 loss to Western Michigan on Oct. 8.
Week 7: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had 152 total yards return yards including an 88 yard kick return for a touchdown in the Falcons 28-21 loss to Toledo on Oct. 15. He also added six tackles in the loss.
Week 8: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had five tackles and 63 kick return yards in the Falcons on Oct. 23.
Week 9: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had six tackles and a pass breakup and four kickoff returns for 87 total yards in the Falcons 27-15 loss to Kent State on Oct. 29.
Week 10: 
Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates and Bowling Green did not have a game this week.
Week 11: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had six total tackles and 186 total return yards on eight kicks in the Falcons 45-14 loss to Northern Illinois on Nov. 8.
Week 12: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates had seven tackles, a pass breakup, and added 66 return yards in the Falcons 29-28 loss to Ohio on Nov. 16.
Week 13: 
Bowling Green DB Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates record eight tackles and returned an interception for 33 yards in the Falcons 42-28 win over Buffalo on Nov. 25. He also added 42 return yards in the win.
Week 14: 
Jerry "Boo Boo" Gates and Bowling Green did not have a game this week.
